Budva is one of the oldest settlements in the Adriatic. The legend of which there are proofs in many Greek myths says that Budva was founded by Cadmos, the son of Phoenician king Agenon. He was banished from Teba and he reached this territory in ox-wagon and founded Budva.
Bečići, a hotel complex settlement and the beach which is 2,000 m long, was proclaimed by Paris experts in 1935 the most beautiful beach of the Mediterranean. The hotel complex Bečići is 2 km south of Budva, on the very coast.
Rafailovići is a small fishing place at the end of Becici, with crystal clear sea and 226 sunny days in the year.
